A TRIP TO THE DESERT OF REALITY

My name is Brij Sachdeva. I am writing this not to earn money. Out of passion, I am writing. Writing has a therapeutic value in psychotherapy. Writing is one of the best therapies.
From the very childhood, I have always felt that there is something different about me. I have always felt that people are living in an ocean of delusions in this society, and I love breaking these delusions. Through my writings, I am going to smash these delusions. I am going to show the world who I am and what I feel about how this world is and how it ought to be, and then leave it up to the people to realise my worth. I am going to continue doing this until the sky falls down, over me.
The thing is that we are living in a society in which reality is an unwanted and the least significant value. People love to live in a certain kind of unrealistic world in which everyone is consoling one another through unfounded deceptive philosophies despite being fully aware of the reality that asserts itself everywhere naked and pure, as it ought to be. People live in a world of fantasy. Everyone seems to be enjoying the luxury of consolation thereby destroying their individuality and wisdom.
People, for the whole of their lives, remain living in a certain kind of fantasy of consolation. If we escape an accident receiving minor abrasions and mild bruises, we say," Oh! Thank you, God! you saved bones from getting fractures". If many of our bones get fractured we are consoled that we escaped the head injury. If we receive a head injury we say, "Good that the life was saved."
Sheela was explaining to Preet how her husband died immediately after receiving a gunshot to the head. Preet, after listening to the story very anxiously, uttered, taking a deep breath," Oh! Thank God, it didn't hit his eye”. The eye was saved- a great consolation.

My message is that we have to take responsibility and face the reality. Only then the real solutions to the problems which are by-products of an unrealistic approach, will emerge. Accepting and facing reality is a catalyst to the growth of wisdom and individuality. Reality is a desert where no one wants to live. But how about a trip? Brij Sachdeva Blog is not an invitation to live there. "BRIJ SACHDEVA BLOG" is an invitation for a trip to the desert of reality.
Great post.
