Walk away

Sometimes we walk away not because we want others to realize our worth and value, but because we have realized our own.

When you start seeing your worth, you'll find it harder to stay around people who don't.
It is all about SELF-IMAGE. Sometimes due to certain compulsions of life situations, the self-image of a person deteriorates up to such an extent that one is not able to realize one’s worth and value. Deterioration of self-image leads to compulsive submissive behaviour and loss of strength of mind. This further damages the self-image.
So, a reciprocal feedback loop, called VICIOUS CIRCLE, is created.
But when we reach a point of realization of our own potential and capacity, we need not seek worth and value from others. Then the magic of self-respect happens. Truth is such a thing that in its very small, fragmentary and momentary manifestation, it has the potential to change everything including your self-image, social image, self-confidence, self-respect, and strength of mind. From the very moment you have realized it, you get transformed into a new person. Now it is difficult to remain the same.
Now, either you will fight or you will simply 'walk away’.
Great post.
